Who I am
My style of travel has been all about “off the beaten path”. It is so cliché, and boy, have I tried to come up with another description. This photo is a good example! A super-yacht in Ecuador, why not? Sign me up. I take the jump first, and thinking might come later. Every time I’ve made this approach, the most remarkable people and memories come to mind. I discovered New Zealand, Antarctica, Ireland, and Tuscany with no real plans (Tuscany & Ireland were a little different and gloriously so). I did try to travel with people in the beginning, but they hemmed and hawed. I didn’t have time for the fickleness and became an avid solo traveler. I wouldn’t change it for the world! Fast-forward 30 years, and now my little family unit LOVES the perks of being children of parents who love planning the next adventure!
